Friendship just like love begins with the self……… 

Imagine a friend of an archaic man

A friendship that began with the self

At the very dawn of History

Before descending to the depths of the ocean

And climbing to the highest peak

A friendship to the very being of his beating heart

The oldest wisdom of all

Purer than a self sufficient sage

Whose prayers never looked within,

Looking at the world from afar

Till all life is spent with pain that he never felt

And joy that longed and never belonged

Seeking reason beyond his very being

Each moment weighting his empty existence 

…..no life can be measured without a friend within!
